Mii Supports Future Dreams

This week, Susan Gerrard, chairman of Gerrard International, presented a cheque on behalf of Mii Cosmetics to Pippa Collins, Director of Fundraising at Future Dreams, for the sum of £3800. Future Dreams is committed to supporting women (and their families) diagnosed with Breast Cancer, as well as fundraising research into the prevention of the disease.

Pippa and her team visited Gerrard International’s head office to thank Susan for Gerrard International’s tremendous support: ‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for your exceptionally kind donation of £3800 to Future Dreams,’ says Pippa. ‘Your efforts to support the charity are inspiring and we are forever grateful.’

This donation has been raised solely through the sales of Mii’s Nourishing Lip Sheen. Since launching in October 2015, £2 of every Lip Sheen sold has been donated to Future Dreams to help towards a project to open ‘Future Dreams’ House, home to The Haven Breast Cancer Support Centre in London. This product and ongoing donation now form part of Mii’s core makeup range.

‘Future Dreams is a cause close to my heart,’ says Susan. ‘It’s about dreaming for the future – hope for a healthier life so you can live it to the full. We’ve supported the charity since it was established in 2008 – having known the founder Danielle Leslie and her mother Sylive Henry – dancers who were both diagnosed with breast cancer. Tragically they passed away within a year of each other.
