This one day course incorporates all theory and practical application for a dermaplaning treatment. The practical element of the day incorporates a demonstration by our educator, allowing plenty of time for each candidate to perform the Dermaplaning techniques and is aligned with the Level 4 requirements.

Microneedling
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy or skin needling, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves small, sterilised needles that puncture the skin. The purpose of this is to cause micro-trauma to the skin which helps stimulate natural collagen and elastin production for a more youthful and radiant complexion.
This one day course covers microneedling theory including skin analysis, classifications, treatment objectives, risks as well as health and safety. The practical element of the day incorporates a demonstration by our educator, allowing plenty of time for each candidate to perform roller and pen microneedling techniques and is aligned with the Level 4 requirements.

Prerequisite: A minimum NVQ Level 2 in Facials incorporating Level 3 qualification in Anatomy and Physiology or equivalent.
Microneedling Conversion Virtual Conversion Course
This 1.5 – 2 hour virtual course has been designed to refresh your existing knowledge in microneedling advanced treatments and help transition to using a specialist microneedling pen. Areas covered include skin analysis, contraindications, risks, insurance and legislation requirements. A Microneedling Pen demonstration will be delivered by our educator explaining all the practical elements for example correct needle depth and pen speeds.

Prerequisite: A minimum Level 3 in beauty or aesthetics incorporating anatomy and physiology or equivalent and in addition previous microneedling experience with an approved microneedling certificate.
