The Laura Kay Training Academy offers training in permanent make up application, giving you the skills and certification you need to become a professional technician and start your own business offering high quality services to your clients.

• Courses are delivered to small groups of students, so that you always get the attention and focus you need to develop your skills.
• All courses are recognised and accredited.
• Suitable for complete beginners.
• All courses require an assessment day to be booked after case studies are completed.

Courses available

• Micropigmentation make up (machine technique). Focusing on Eyebrows, Eyeliner and Lips.
• Enhancing eyebrows with microblading/nanoblading. This includes; mastering microblading, brow mapping, textured strokes, healing and aftercare as well top up procedures.
• Eyebrows (machine technique). This includes; mastering your device and technique, and the whole process from application to healing process and aftercare.
• Medical micropigmentation course (machine technique). This includes; background and preparation, design and procedure, healing and aftercare. Popular treatments include nipple and areola design, camouflaging scars, burns and vitiligo
• Scalp micropigmentation course. This course focuses on background and preparation, pigments & colour matching, types of hair loss, hairline design and healing and aftercare.

Each course covers six main learning areas:
